Yeah, I've done quite a bit of modding before... I probably have banned enough people to form a small army should they ever organize. Go anoimity on the internet!

Every once in a while I do actually see a post that should result in an immediate ban, i.e. GW gold sales (which of course are usually just bots) and racist sentiments. Most of the time bans should happen when an offense is repeated, and that type of offender is absurdly common on GW Guru. What're really ugly are forums for single-player games, where the posters are not necessarily experienced in social interaction at all. I used to moderate oblivionsource.com, and damn but that was a scary place. Probably still is.

That's why users, such as yourself, have that lovely "report bad post" button. When yuo use that it let's us know that someone found a post that should not belong, so in a way, everyone in a little moderator.

So if you see these posts, feel free to use that button, it's a great feature.
